GROUND TRANSPORTATION
If you elect to fly into Phoenix and do not plan to drive a rental car south to Tucson, you may wish to take theArizona Shuttle (see information below) a comfortable mini-bus service between the Phoenix and Tucson airports. The shuttle leaves Phoenix every hour on the half-hour from 6:30 AM to 11:30. Look for the kiosk in the baggage terminal labeled Greater Arizona Intercity Transportation. The shuttle takes passengers to one of three drop-off sites in Tucson. Fares have recently gone up due to fuel surcharges. Expect to pay between $48-60 round trip. From the Tucson Airport Hotels
The Arizona Stagecoach is a mini-bus that takes travelers from the Tucson International Airport to various Tucson Hotels. Reservations must be made in advance on-line.
